Riverbend United Church is grateful to have received a Government of Canada “Canada Summer Jobs” grant to hire two students in the summer of 2018. Marguerite Alimbe was the Church’s Office Assistant. Griffin Power assisted David Galbraith & Jim Schetzsle with outdoor yardwork & maintenance in July and Aidan Leicht worked with David & Jim in August. Both Marguerite & Aidan’s last day of work was Friday, August 24th, 2018 although we talked Aidan into staying a few more days to help us out with the last of the yard work and some garage sale preparation. “Thank you” to them both for their excellent work!
