Our Outreach Committee was excited to work with the Inner City Pastoral Ministry (ICPM) again on Sunday, June 16th.  On Fathers’ Day morning, we provided and served lunch to approximately 200 inner city residents at the new Bissell Centre. Riverbend United Church was once again the recipient of a Canada Summer Jobs Program grant.  Aidan Lecht returned as a landscaping/handyman assistant and Tilman Jessen was our summer office assistant.  Thank you to the Canada Summer Jobs Program for their support of student employment.
