Accessibility

In 2019 we installed a Hearing Loop system to assist those with hearing aids connect to the sound system to hear the service more clearly.  We offer printed bulletins and project the entire service onto the large screen at the front of the Sanctuary.  We also live-stream all services, and they can be found on the Riverbend United Church YouTube channel.

There is handicapped parking adjacent to the building, and a ramp for easy access.  Our front doors are wheelchair and stroller friendly as they can be opened with the wave of a hand.  There are no stairs to enter the church and a pew on the right side of the sanctuary offers plenty of room for wheelchairs.  Both the men’s and women’s washrooms are wheelchair accessible.

We have a lift/elevator for those occasions where access to the lower level is needed.
