Riverbend United Church Library
Riverbend United Church has a book library located inside the church. The Riverbend United Church library renewal initiative began in the spring of 2026. The project was supported by a Board-approved gift from the Memorial Fund.
The Library Team worked busily over the summer to prepare the library for reopening in October 2026. The Team refined the collection, added new and donated books, sorted the books into categories, and developed an easy-to-use online
catalogue with the TinyCat library tool.
Library patrons can search the online catalogue, place holds, and check out books. The aim is for the revitalized library to support congregation learning, promote spiritual formation, and foster connections among patrons.
The library is a resource for all members of the United Church.
How do I sign up to become a library patron?
Before Sunday service, between 10:00 and 10:30 visit the library and a member of the Library Team will help you sign up. You only need to provide your first name, last name and an email address.
What are the library hours?
You can use our online catalogue to view our titles and reserve a book anytime.
Books can be removed and returned during library hours, Sundays between 10:00 and 10:30 am.

Just click here. You will be provided a shared password when you sign up.
How long can I take out a book?
Books can be signed our for 4 weeks at a time.
Are Magazines available to read?
Yes, Magazines are available to read in the library during regular hours. They can not be taken out.
